Our Story
Soapstone Software was founded with a simple mission: to help businesses build great software without the enterprise price tag or agency overhead.
For over 15 years, our founder Isaac Bell has been building software solutions for B2B startups and enterprise clients. From fintech platforms processing millions in transactions to MVPs that raised Series A funding, we've seen what works and what doesn't.
Today, Soapstone combines that experience with a lean, focused approach. We take on a limited number of projects so we can give each one the attention it deserves. No account managers, no junior developers learning on your dime - just experienced engineers who care about doing great work.

Isaac Bell
Isaac Bell has spent the last 15 years designing, building, and delivering production software for early-stage and growth-stage teams across healthcare, finance, government, and SaaS.
He specializes in stepping into complex or high-risk projects — where timelines are tight, requirements are evolving, and systems need to scale without breaking. His focus is on clear decision-making, delivery ownership, and reducing execution risk.
Isaac has led and contributed to platforms used by millions of users and systems relied on daily by clinicians and operators. He remains close to the work, verifies solutions personally, and encourages issues to be surfaced early so they can be resolved directly.
He believes most software failures aren't technical - they're failures of ownership and communication.
